







BANDUNG, UNIKOM – Based on the initiative of students from the Doctoral Program in Management (DIM) in collaboration with the African Institute for Multidisciplinary Studies (AIMS), the third international community service program was held on February 16-17, 2025, with the theme “Institution Collaboration for International Community Service – Cianjur City – 2025, Improving Creativity and Digital Competency for Business Actors in MSMEs Cianjur.” The event was held in a hybrid format (Offline: Rumah Makan Ikan Bakar Rawabango 2, Jl. Rawabango Karangtengah Cianjur & Online: Zoom). Eighty people attended both online and offline, including Doctoral students in Management, Somali students studying at UNIKOM, institutions, and MSMEs. The MSME being fostered in this international community service program was the Bumi UMKM Cianjur Producers Cooperative.
This international community service program featured three speakers: 1). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wadiniwaty, Dra., M.Sc. (Dean of the Graduate School of UNIKOM). 2). Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Yani Syafei, M.T., CSBA (Head of the Doctoral Study Program in Management Science, Graduate School of UNIKOM). 3). Adisamad Abdirahman Omar, Ph.D. Adisamad Abdirahman Omar, Ph.D. is an entrepreneur, business analyst, and academic with 10 years of experience in education and administration. He earned his Ph.D. in Management and Organization from Ankara HBV University and holds two master’s degrees in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (KALU Institute) and International Trade and Logistics (Akdeniz University), as well as a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Somalia. He is also the director of the African Institute for Multidisciplinary Studies (AIMS).
The event began with remarks by Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Yani Syafei, M.T., CSBA, followed by remarks and opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wadiniwaty, Dra., M.Sc., entered the main event, the material was delivered by each speaker in an interactive and informative manner accompanied by questions and answers from the audience. At the end of the event, there was a friendly gathering and the giving of plaques and group photos for documentation. This activity was carried out through the collaboration of the DIM Study Program, Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, UNIKOM with AIMS, the Cianjur UMKM Bumi Producers Cooperative and the cooperation of the organizing committee which was DIM students and media partners (n2n, MNC Bank, Catur Insan Cendekia University (UCIC), STIE Bisnis Internasional Indonesia (STIE BII), Suryakencana University, Utpadaka Swastika University (UTPAS)) who participated in helping and making this event a success.
