Bandung, Indonesia. Currently, the informal sector still dominates the labor market, with approximately 57% of the total workforce employed in this sector. This condition indicates that many workers have yet to receive adequate social security and labor protection. On the other hand, the digital and technology sectors are experiencing rapid growth, creating numerous new job opportunities in the fields of technology startups, e-commerce, and fintech. These sectors absorb a large number of skilled and educated young workers.
Another challenge faced is the mismatch between the education and skills of the workforce and the needs of the industry. Many university graduates work in fields that do not align with their studies. Additionally, Indonesia also sends many migrant workers abroad. Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) make a significant contribution to the economy through remittances sent to their homeland.

In response to these challenges and to fulfill the course requirements for “Entrepreneurial E-Business” taught by Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Soeryanto Soegoto, MT. and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.Si. in the Master of Information Systems program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.Si. initiated a collaboration between the PASMA of UNIKOM’s Postgraduate Faculty and FORMACA of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung to organize a digital entrepreneurship workshop entitled “Millennial Innovative Entrepreneurship: Utilizing Digital Banking to Build Businesses from an Early Age.” The workshop was held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the 4th-floor Auditorium of the Miracle Building, UNIKOM.
