Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The Dean of the Graduate School of UNIKOM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.Si., along with the Head of the Doctoral Program in Management Science at UNIKOM, Prof. Dr. M. Yani Syafei, MT., CSBA., were selected as speakers at an International Community Service event held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Penang, Malaysia. The event was attended by the Consul General of Indonesia to Penang, Mr. Wanton Saragih Sid, and 120 participants, including lecturers, students, academic staff, and Indonesian workers.
International Community Service is part of the agenda of the International Academic Community, led by Prof. Dr. Tulus Suryanto, MM, Akt, C.A., to fulfil the tri dharma of higher education (teaching and learning, research, and community service). Numerous universities, including UNIKOM, participate in it.
At this event, UNIKOM, represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.Si., and Prof. Dr. M. Yani Syafei, MT., CSBA., were selected to deliver a presentation entitled “Obtaining Business and Environmental Sustainability from a Marketing Management Science Perspective for Indonesian Migrant Workers in Malaysia” this presentation aimed to target Indonesian workers who work and reside in Malaysia.
