Bandung, UNIKOM – The Master of Design Study Program of the Postgraduate Faculty at Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) welcomed a visit from the Master of Design Program of the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) at Universitas Tarumanagara (UNTAR). The visit was an academic comparative study trip to the Master of Design Study Program of the UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty, held on April 25, 2025, at the UNIKOM Smart Building, 12th floor. The visit aimed to share information on master’s program management, research and practice-based learning approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the realm of design.
At the meeting, the Dean of the UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.Si., warmly welcomed the visit from FSRD UNTAR. She also introduced her staff, including: the Head of the Master of Design Study Program of the UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty, Dr. Taufan Hidayatullah, S.Sn, M.Ds; UNIKOM Master of Design Lecturers: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rini Maulina, S.Sn, M.Sn. and Dr. Yully Ambarsih Ekawardhani, M.Sn, S.Sn; the Secretary of the Dean of the UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty, Santi Yulianti, A.Md.; and the Secretary of the Master of Design Study Program, Mira Suci Mutiarasari, S.S.
The event began with remarks from the Head of the UNIKOM Master of Design Study Program, followed by remarks from the Dean of the Postgraduate Faculty and a welcoming speech from the representative of FSRD UNTAR. In her speech, the Dean of the Postgraduate Faculty warmly welcomed the FSRD UNTAR visit, introduced her staff, and reviewed the history of the UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty and the Master of Design Study Program. The core of the event was filled with knowledge sharing and a joint discussion regarding the management of the Master of Design Study Program, research and practice-based learning approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the realm of design. The event then concluded with the exchange of souvenirs and a group photo for documentation. It is hoped that this visit can strengthen the friendly ties and potential for further collaboration between the two higher education institutions.
