EMPOWERING BEAUTY INDUSTRY WITH DIGITAL MARKETING, INSIGHTS FROM BRAND LEADER, MAKE UP ARTIST (MUA) INFLUENCER & EDUCATION PERSPECTIVE

Bandung, Saturday, February 15, 2025. Based on the initiative of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.Si, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and lecturer for the Marketing Management course, in collaboration with the organizing committee—1) Raka P. Kostarian, 2) Fahmi Muhamad M, 3) Zuli Priyanto, 4) Sukiman Makalalag, 4) Muhammad Irfan, 5) Andressa Noviar A, 6) Dina Sofiana, 7) Debora Meti M., 8) Cut Dinda S., and 9) Dicky Kurniawan—all Master of Management students from the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies at Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM), an Online Webinar was successfully held.

The webinar, themed “Empowering Beauty Industry With Digital Marketing: Insight From Brand Leader, Makeup Artist (MUA) Influencer & Education Perspective,” featured competent experts in their fields, including: Zaki Agung M. (Lead of Digital Marketing & Sales at Haquhara), Nanath Nadia (Make Up Artist Influencer & Founder at Naire), and Dicky Kurniawan (CEO at Bitanic, Master of Management Student at UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty). The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Umi Narimawati, Dra., S.E, M.Si, Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs at UNIKOM, and approximately 100 participants consisting of students, UNIKOM alumni, and the general public.

The activity began with opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.Si, followed by remarks from Prof. Dr. Umi Narimawati, Dra., S.E, M.Si, who officially opened the event, which was then followed by a group photo session. Moving into the core event, the first material was presented by Dicky Kurniawan, S.Kom., M.M., with the topic “Digital Marketing Fundamental,” followed by the second material by Zaki Agung Makarim, S.I.Kom, discussing “How Digital Marketing Drives Beauty Brands,” and the final material by Nanath Nadia, discussing “How Digital Marketing Drives MUAs.” During the sessions, the speakers presented the material in an interactive and informative manner, accompanied by discussions and Q&A. The event concluded with a webinar summary, a closing statement by the Chief Executive, a Doorprize Wheel, and a final group photo for documentation.

This webinar was an implementation of the Marketing Management course in the Master of Management Study Program at the UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty, taught by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra, M.Si. The purpose was to provide education in the form of knowledge sharing by presenting competent experts to discuss Digital Marketing from the perspective of a Beauty Brand, a Make Up Artist Influencer, and the Education Field. The main goal was to provide insights to the audience, especially UNIKOM Master of Management students, on how to build digital marketing within the business world, particularly for beauty products.
