Abdisamad Abdirahman Omar, Bsc., MA MSc., CHRMP., Ph.D. is the director of the African Institute for Multidisciplinary Studies (AIMS) located in Muqdisho, Somalia, in addition to being the director of AIMS, He is also a Lecturer at the School of Graduate Studies, University of Hargeisa Somalia and Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University, Turkey. UNIKOM signed an MoU and MoA with the African Institute for Multidisciplinary Studies (AIMS) in September 2023. On December 20-21, 2023, the Postgraduate Faculty together with AIMS conducted the first International Community Service activity held in Cirebon City in a hybrid manner with Co-Organizers Majalengka University, Lembah Dempo University, South Sumatra, International Women University, and Muhammadiyah University of Bandung with the theme “Implementation of It-Based Management Science in Improving The Performance of Batik and Culinary Foods MSME in Cirebon City”.
During this visit, Abdisamad Abdirahman Omar, Bsc., MA MSc., CHRMP., Ph.D. together with the Dean of the Postgraduate Faculty and his staff and the Director of Quality Assurance UNIKOM conducted a tour of the Postgraduate Faculty after which the agenda was continued with a joint discussion to be able to collaborate globally to carry out the Tridharma of Higher Education based on International (Globalization-based Teaching and Learning Process, International Research Collaboration and International Community Service).
